DELAVAN-DARIEN HUMAN CONCERNS
Mondays @ 6pm. Enter through brown door on 5th Street.
A group of congregations, businesses, and people of good will who provide financial assistance to residents of Delavan and Darien. Be sure to bring paperwork (verify address, copies of bills you need help with) and arrive early. Please note: Christ Church does not provide financial assistance, gas vouchers or phone cards outside of Human Concerns.
We don’t just want to help you today, we want to help you for the rest of your life. This is a nine-week course that will help you learn:
- How to make and live by a budget
- Build up savings
- Get out of debt
- Pay off your house
- Plan for kid’s college, and
If you’re serious about changing your financial situation this is how to do it. We offer Financial Peace University starting in mid-Septmeber and mid-January. Scholarships are available.
A PLACE TO STAY
Christ Church supports the following ministries that assist the homeless in Delavan and Darien.
Please note we’re unable to provide hotel stays or vouchers.
A homeless shelter for men located at host sites throughout Walworth County that’s open from October through April.
